Distance makes the difference
Bike riders are vulnerable to serious injury, or worse, because they don’t have the protection of drivers. The road is a shared space and all road users should respect each other to ensure everyone’s safety. One of the best ways to help keep bike riders safe is to keep a safe distance, especially when overtaking.
